Working Party News

Hats off to our intrepid and stalwart volunteers who have been hard at it during this somewhat less than balmy weather!

The double curvature brickwork on the south parapet of Devil's Hole Lock Bridge has now been completed. The photo shows the early stages of our volunteers in action.

Hedgelaying has not been helped by the detritus deposited i the hedgerows by the flooding caused by the overflowing canal.

There has been some relocation of containers between Tickner's Crossing Yard and the Depot at Dunsfold. One of which is now kitted out as a workshop with benches, racking and strip lighting. It will become our central tool store.

Volunteer with us

We are holding three volunteer information days on March 13th at Dunsfold Depot and 15th and 20th March at Loxwood Canal Centre.  Come along for a coffee and a chat - there is a role for everyone.

More information is available on our website or email volunteering@weyarun.org.uk if you have questions
