WACT needs your votes to help secure a grant from the Aviva Community Fund. We’ve applied for funding in the 2017 Health and Wellbeing category and could receive up to £25,000.
If successful, we will use the money to create a two-kilometre circular walk on the canal route at Birtley, between Bramley and Cranleigh. This is likely to be a popular and well-used aspect of the canal restoration and we are keen to go ahead with the project.
Our project will be open to public vote from 9am on Tuesday, October 24th to noon on Tuesday, November 21st.
Please vote for us – and get your friends, relations, neighbours and anyone else you can persuade to support us – and we will stand a good chance of getting a grant.
Full details of the Birtley project, and instructions for voting, will be on www.aviva.co.uk/community-fund from October 24th.
