This 3½ mile walk encompasses the section of the Loxwood Link from the Canal Centre east along the towpath past Brewhurst Lock, Baldwin’s Knob Lock and Drungewick Aqueduct and returning in a figure of eight via pretty fields and woodland. There is an optional 1-mile walk extension to include Drungewick Lock.

From the Canal Centre walk along the towpath heading east towards Brewhurst Lock (A). The lock was first restored by the Trust during 1994-1997. Its curious back to front appearance resulted from the lowering of the canal in 2006 to enable the building of the new bridge to take the canal under Loxwood High Street.

Continue alongside the canal for ¾ mile passing Brewhurst Bridge to reach Baldwin’s Knob Lock (B) which was restored by the Trust between 1991 and 1993. Continue for a further ¾ mile, passing Barnsill Bridge to reach Drungewick Aqueduct and bridge (C). The Aqueduct was constructed by the Trust from 2002 to 2003. The bridge was rebuilt by the Trust between 2000 and 2001.
