Our boat team operate and maintain three trip boats for public trips and special charters along the Loxwood section of the canal.
For the boat trips we need crew, skippers and people to help run special trips such as Easter and our Santa cruises. This includes the upfront organisation and help on the day, The maintenance team also welcome volunteers to help paint, generally clean and do various maintenance tasks. No previous experience necessary as training will be provided
Boat trips operate under the regulations set up by the Maritime and Coastguard Agency (MCA) Crew training is provided and skipper training for the exam conducted by the MCA after a year crewing is also provided.
