Opening of Compasses Bridge by Penelope Keith and small boats rally at the summit section in Alfold.
Midday – formal opening of the new Compasses Bridge by actor Penelope Keith followed by refreshments for all. Entry will be at Compasses gate with parking for everyone (not the main entrance to Dunsfold Park in Stovold Hill). This celebrates the opening of the bridge, the Trust’s first major project in Surrey. Guildford Friary Brass Band will be there to entertain you.
