The Wey & Arun Canal Trust boat crews have had a busy year and as the summer special cruises come to an end, preparations are being made for Christmas trips.
The Cream Tea Voyages on September 18 provide the last opportunity of the season to sit back, relax and enjoy a delicious cream tea on our electric canal boat Wiggonholt, while watching the stunning Sussex countryside pass by. Seats are still available on the 2.15pm and 4.30pm trips, and a gluten-free tea can be provided.
Bookings are also now being taken for Christmas events, which not only include the ever-popular Santa Cruises, but Boxing Day and New Year trips. Aimed at under-12s, the Santa Cruises create a little festive magic with a visit from Santa and his helpers, a special gift for children, Christmas singalong and refreshments.
Scheduled trips continue to run every Saturday and Sunday throughout the autumn until October 27th, three times a day.
