Want to know more about canal history and heritage, including that of the Wey & Arun Canal? Arts Society lecturer, canal enthusiast, writer and photographer Roger Butler will be holding a talk on the subject via Zoom on the evening of Monday 24th January.
Roger Butler has a particular interest in the heritage of our canals and is a Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society, a Licentiate of the Royal Photographic Society, and regular contributor to magazines on the outdoors, canals, heritage and travel.
Hosted by the Dorking Local History Group, the lecture (7.15pm for a 7.30pm start) is free to attend but registration in advance is required.
