The date has been set for the Trust’s annual sponsored walk. Next year’s Poddle will take place on Sunday 2nd June.
Organiser Margaret Darvill tells us the walk will start at Bramley Village Hall, with lunch at Farley Green Church Hall. The route is planned to take in the new section at Birtley, along with Rooks Hill Farm, Albury and Blackheath. It is a great fundraiser for the Trust, as well as being good fun, so keep the date free and let friends and family know. More details to follow.
Another date for your diaries is 19th May, when the River Arun Rally from Pulborough to Pallingham will take place. Small boats, canoes, kayaks and paddleboards are invited to come together to mark navigation rights on the River Arun. Participants need to register - simply click on the forthcoming events tab.
