The Grow Your Tenner match-funding initiative is under way, giving you the chance to make your donations to the Trust work harder.

In this year’s Grow Your Tenner campaign supporters setting up an annual monthly direct debit of up to £10 will see donations matched by not-for-profit social enterprise Localgiving after the first six months. Direct debits can be matched up to £10, so even smaller amounts can make a big difference.

Grow Your Tenner will run until the match-funding pot of £100,000 runs out, or 12am on Thursday 10th January - whichever comes first - so you need to act fast.

The initiative has proved a hugely successful fundraiser for the Trust in previous years and has gone a long way to helping support recent restoration projects, such as the completion of Gennets Bridge Lock earlier this year.

To set up a direct debit and gain matchfunding for the Trust, please go to https://localgiving.com/charity/wact. Don’t forget to gift aid it, too, if eligible.

Trust Chairman Sally Schupke is encouraging supporters to get behind the initiative. “The Localgiving match-funding initiative proves a simple and effective way for the Trust to boost its funds and ensure the current restoration projects move forward. I urge you to spread the work among family and friends and go to https://localgiving.com/charity/wact and click on the donate monthly tab.”
