Navigate to the Boat Trip Admin Overview and click Modify/Cancel trip on the right:
The Modify/Cancel screen shows:
On this you can (optionally)
- De-select “Delete Crew” (Skipper & crew will remain as before)
- Enter a new trip date & time (Date & time will be changed, otherwise the original date/time remains).
- Other fields like “boat”
Click Confirm to save the changes, or Abort to leave as before.
Confirm will:
- Set the “Roster open” and “Public” fields for this trip to <no> (the same as doing this on the Boat Trip Admin Overview screen)
- If “Delete Crew” has been selected (the default), the Skipper & Crew fields will be set to null
- If a new date has been entered, this will be applied to the trip, otherwise the old date/time remains and the Duration field will be set to “CANCELLED”, as shown below.
- An email will be sent to Boat Group administrators, Skipper & Crew (if rostered for this trip) saying “Trip ID xxx, [trip title] on [trip date] as been modified” and, if crew has been deleted, “and skipper & crew assignments cancelled”.
